The greatest and most important punk rock band of all-time, The Clash were revolutionaries who used their music to fight political and social injustice wherever they found it. Not only that, they did the unthinkable in the early 80s when they actually put a punk song in the top ten of the pop charts ("Rock The Casbah"). It was the last time the pop charts were ever cool. Ever.
