BOB DYLAN

Inducted: January 2007 (1st Ballot)

Without Bob Dylan there might not be rock n roll, or at the very least it wouldn't sound like it should.  The man who electrified folk music and introduced the Beatles to drugs invented a narrative style of songwriting that changed music forever.  More than 40 years into his career, Dylan is still as vital to the music scene as ever, earning Rolling Stone's Album of the Year in 2006.
